It is easy to cause a series of problems such as poor roughness of the machined threaded hole, T603 sheathed tap chip sticking, severe wear and fracture, which seriously affect the service life. To improve and effectively solve the above problems, it is particularly important to extend the service life of squeeze Armored tap.
Due to the fact that cutting Armored tap produces internal threads by removing the workpiece material, the flat top and bottom tooth profile will not increase the tapping torque; Squeezing Armored tap produces internal threads by causing plastic deformation of the workpiece material. The flat top and flat bottom tooth types have sharp corners on the tooth tips, resulting in poor plastic flow of the material and high tapping torque, which can easily cause problems such as wear, chip sticking, and fracture of the T603 sheathed tap tooth tips.
